The history of Manpower starts in 1948. The company was founded in Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA) and soon began a rapid business expansion throughout the United States. In 1956 the Canadian office was opened and in the same year the first European office in the UK began its operation.

With nearly 2,200 offices in 82 countries worldwide, we leverage of world of work expertise to create the work models, design the people practises and access the talent sources its clients need for the future.
